The body of B. Franklin,
Printer,
Like the cover of an old book,
its contents torn out
and
Stripped of its lettering and gliding,
Lies here
food for worms.
But the book shall not be lost
for it will as he believed
Appearance more
In a new and more elegant edition
revised and corrected
by the Author.

Benjamin Franklin wrote his own epitaph at the age of 22. As cool as it is for Poets and book lovers, we are sorry to report that it was not used.
